Aber Instruments
Aber Instruments was established in 1988 when four researchers from the University of Aberystwyth and the Centre for Alternative Technology invented and patented a unique method for biomass monitoring using radio frequency impedance. Aber Instruments now design, manufacture and supply thousands of advanced systems for use in the biotech, brewing, biorenewables and biofuel industries, many of which are exported to more than 115 different countries, and count some of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical and brewing companies as their customers.
